2/9 Added pictures and seabass update
Tuesday, 09 February 2010

The 2009 photo gallery is now loaded and looking great. Check out one of the many awesome pictures. By the looks of things Jesse, Brian, and Ed  are still eating tasty fillets.  Its hard to believe but all the pictures of the many jumbo seabass came from our summer season. Summer seabass is what we love to do,and I hope it shows. I just got word that NMFS is going to increase the seabass quota and that New Jersey should have a full summer season and 25 fish per person bag limit. This is great news. I will post the season and bag limits when the  final approval is passed. With the great news of having our seabass season  back Fishguts Inshore Charters is offering a pre-season special. Book any 3 full day charters before April 15th and get 10% off all 3 trips. That brings our already low prices even lower. To get this incredible deal you just need to send in deposits and pick your dates(email or call first). As in other seasons we will be planning on starting around June 1st. We are very excited to be able to offer a one of a kind charter experience at a price the average fisherman can afford. Please feel free to call or email for more details on any trip that we offer. Thanks for looking

2010 update
Friday, 15 January 2010

Hello and I hope all are having a great new year. We are close to putting the finishing touches for the up coming 2010 season. We will offer many of the same great trips that we have  caught so well with in the past and have added a few new exciting ones. We are also pleased to announce the addition of a new custom bow casting platform for more space and comfort. This platform will come in very handy for the one of a kind fluke fly fishing trips we will be offering this year. Yep you read it right. Fluke on a fly and yes it can be done!!!!! Look for more details in the trip section soon.  We will also be running our very popular family fluke trips from late July right through Aug. The 2009 season saw many first time fishing families land 50 to 75 fish in just a couple of hours on the calm protected waters of Barnegat Bay and we expect 2010 to even better. As some of you may be aware there is some major changes  concerning bag limits and seasons to many to the fish we target. After coming off of one the best  summer seabass seasons that we have ever had it is with much disappointment to see as off 1/1/10 the the 2010 seabass season will only be 60days long. The months of June and Sept only.  As summertime seabass is our number one specialty this is very bad news. There is a chance of  some changes and I will post any updates or check out this great organization I am a member of www.unitedboatmen.com  . We will be  sailing every day of June (weather permitting) targeting seabass and trips are filling up fast. Give a call or email if you want a shot at filling a box with tasty fillets during this very short season. This season will also see a few more Jumbo summertime blackfish trips. Last season produced  plenty of fish with tops being a 10.4 lber. Shorts tee shirt and jumbo tog. As always Fishguts Inshore Charters will work hard to provide a safe memory filled pleasurable charter experience at a value packed price. We love to help people catch fish and we hope it shows. Thanks for looking and check back often.

Thanks for a great season
Tuesday, 01 September 2009

As our season comes to a close I would like to personally thank all that fished and caught with us this season. It was a real pleasure to meet and make many new friends while enjoying some of the finest inshore fishing New Jersey has to offer. Other than some major computer issues it was one fine season. We will be kicking off our 2010 season in June targeting seabass on the wrecks and bluefish on the shallow waters of the bay. Trip gift certificates will be available around the holidays for that special gift that will give lasting memories along with a nice bag of fillets. Thanks again and I look forward to many fine trips in 2010. I will be checking my emails during the "off" season so please feel free to email any questions  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   Thanks for looking
